Afterburner turns up the heat. Air Con in the arcade, Football Fest, Fiver Fridays and a ministerial visit!
Our summer game refresh has really gathered pace, we've added the Sega flight sim classic Afterburner to the lineup! It's not on the floor just yet but will be very soon along with a host of new and returning titles including Space Ace, Enduro Racer, Joust and Commando.

But hey there's a lot of practicalities too. To avoid the arcade becoming a sauna over the summer, and knowing that the old games aren't fans of the heat, we've got the air conditioning going keeping the place at a pleasantly cool 20 degrees no matter how hot it gets out there.
FIVER FRIDAYS ARE ON UNTIL THE END OF JUNE

We've teamed up with our neighbours at the Movie House Cinema to offer Fiver Fridays where all arcade tickets are £5 per hour before 5pm on a Friday (and day tickets are only £20!). You can see any movie at the Movie House for only £5 before 5pm on a Friday too, we went to see the Mandalorian and Grogu and don't believe the haters it was belting!
THE FINANCE MINISTER POPPED IN FOR A CHAT
Nice of John O'Dowd the finance minister for Northern Ireland to pop in for a visit. We chatted about business support, the issues around alcohol licensing in Northern Ireland and Space Invaders (I think he was secretly disappointed that ours is in the workshop at the moment) but he still had a good crack at Pac-Man.
FOOTBALL FEST TAKES SHAPE

Our next special event is pencilled in for the 18th and 19th of July, World Cup final weekend, when we'll be hosting a Subbuteo tournament outside the arcade in association with the Northern Ireland Tabletop Football Association followed by a spectacular Mexico 86 40 Year Anniversary World Cup tournament on the gaming consoles at Gallaher's Bar. A few details to iron out on that one but join our mailing list to be kept fully informed as always.
Catch the sun!
