The Culture Night Olympics at the Retro Room
Culture Night returns to Belfast and we’re very happy to be hosting our first special event The Culture Night Olympics at the new Retro Room premises at Cityside (you might call it Yorkgate!).
Limber up those button bashing fingers for a world’s first Track and Field and Hypersports Olympics! You’ll take part across more than 13 events (if you get that far!) in a round robin style event where overall winners progress through, all the way to being crowned the first Track and Field and Hypersports Olympic Champions!
Whether it’s the 100 metres dash, the long jump, skeet shooting or archery you’ll need a range of skills to make it all the way to glory. The games will be played on original 1980s arcade hardware so no cheating with the old button rubbing trick (if you know, you know!).
- Gold medal winners will win a set of Asics running shoes and free gait analysis provided by our event partners at Pure Running, Belfast’s specialist running shop
- Silver medallists will win £100 in vouchers from our wonderful new neighbours at the Black Axe Throwing Company
- Bronze medal winners will win a £50 voucher from Sunflower Wellness, North Belfast’s boutique wellness studio offering yoga and holistic therapies.
