Four More Days To Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
Well hello Roomies! Cathy here, the other half of the Retro Room team. You might have spied me down in the arcade or lurking around in the background on the occasional video on our socials.

Marty has the dreaded lurgy and so is resting up to make sure he’s in tip top form (or at least comes back as a zombie) ahead of this weekend’s spooky goings on at the arcade.
OUR HALLOWEEN NIGHT SPOOKTACULAR RETURNS!
We'll have the horror games out in force for our 18+ event from 8pm to Midnight. Four hours of gaming fun, a smorgasboard of creepy classics and BYO, all for just £20! Plus you can throw your (witches) hat in the ring for our Terrordrome Tournament. Fight with your favourite horror character from Jason to Freddy to Evil Dead’s Ash. Groovy!
HALLOWEEN RETRO TOY FAIR
We’ve teamed up with our friends at the Collector’s Vault to bring you a veritable feast of nostalgia with their vintage toys and collectibles fair from 11am to 6pm.
We’ll be joined by the Belfast Predator AND the Mandalorian Protectors who’ll be prowling the Cityside limits, ready for action and selfies!
LOTS OF SCARY FUN AT CITYSIDE THIS HALLOWEEN!
Cityside have upped the stakes (see what I did there?!) with their Halloween festivities. Come on down for face painting, balloon modelling and halloween crafts. Join the Moviehouse for their Halloween Horror rewind and catch a classic movie or 5! Grab limited tickets for Cahoots new show The 13 Chairs or a chance to channel your inner viking at Black Axe.
Marty has been delving into the console archives this week, offering up some spooky game recommendations, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon with my picks. For old school freaky gothic and eerie industrial vibes you can’t beat the OG Quake, you’ll be hearing those zombie groans in your nightmares! For a combo of weird and cute I love Taito’s Bonze Adventure, a surreal platformer where you’ll battle ghosts, flying eyeballs and other assorted unruly nasties in the name of bringing the underworld back into order.
It’s all ghoul this weekend - see you there!
