Join Us on Halloween Weekend!

The dark nights are upon us but that just brings out the neon down here at The Retro Room. We're insanely excited for our first Halloween weekend and it's a packed schedule down at our new home in Cityside.

The arcade will be open as usual from 11am-7pm this Friday but from 8-midnight we'll be transforming it into our adults only Halloween Spooktacular with more horror games than you can shake a bloody stump at including Terrordrome, House of the Dead: Overkill on the big screen, Blood, Hexen, Knight Lore, Splatterhouse and many more.

On Saturday 1st the arcade will once again be open from 11am-7pm and we'll have a very special event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Back To The Future in collaboration with our chums at the Movie House Cinema. Come along at 2pm to the Retro Room to race Deloreans! You can win exclusive Retro Room Halloween t-shirts, 80s toys and much more. The overall winner will win a Guitar Hero setup on the PS2.

Phew, and following all that we will once again transform the arcade into our adults only gorefest from 8pm. And this time we'll be joined by the Irish Slasher himself The Belfast Michael Myers. Agggh!

Did we mention we'll also be launching our brand new tabletop gaming area at the front of the arcade as part of our Halloween Spooktacular? We'll have it fully stocked up with horror games too from Friday the 13th to Silent Night, Deadly Night, Atmosfear and more...

Lastly dress up in a Halloween costume and you can win a big goodie bag from the excelsior folks at Comic Book Guys. Most innovative or damn right scariest costume wins!

And you can bring a few drinks too. We'll get away with it as there won't be any of those pesky kids!

Tickets to the Halloween Spooktacular are £25 and are available on the website or from 8pm on Friday and Saturday night on the door.
