Mega Mortal Kombat 2 Kompetition and Fiver Fridays!

Hey Roomies, we'd a great time on Star Wars Day yesterday with flight sims, fan films and much more we're going to go BIG on that one next year.

And speaking of big, we're hosting a Mega Mortal Kombat 2 kompetition on the jumbotron screen down at Cityside this Friday from 7-9pm to celebrate the launch of the new Mortal Kombat 2 movie at the Movie House cinemas. Dust off your gloves (or knives or spears or ice or big rope thing Scorpion throws) and get those fatalities on the go to win movie tickets as well as arcade vouchers and merch. Tickets are £10 purchasable from the Retro Room from 5pm and include an hour of arcade time also. We'll be playing the arcade version of MK2 on a fight pedestal with arcade controls for those of you wanting to practice!

And speaking of time how would you fancy a full day of fun for a tenner? You would! Yes you might think we've spent too long in the glue cupboard but we're matching the Movie House's Fiver Friday promotion with our own Fiver Fridays offer.

Come down to the Retro Room between 11am and 5pm any Friday from the 8th of May until the end of June and it's only £5 per hour for unlimited gaming. That's a full day with a movie and some retro arcade craic for a tenner. Can't say fairer than that in these trying times!
