Wow! What a great first weekend that was! And gift vouchers are now available online...
Thank you to everyone who made the journey down on our opening weekend, our ears are still ringing with the glorious shrillness of 80s chiptunes!
Honestly we were blown away by the response to the Retro Room at Cityside, better than anything we could have dreamed of and to see so many young'uns have their first experience of classic arcade games made the last four years of getting here worthwhile.
Our First Special Event Is This Friday
Next up it's The Culture Night Olympics Track and Field and Hypersports tournament on September 19th from 7-10pm as part of Culture Night Belfast 2025! Gold medal winners will win a set of Asics running shoes and free gait analysis provided by our event partners at Pure Running, Belfast’s specialist running shop. Silver medallists will win £100 in vouchers from our wonderful new neighbours at the Black Axe Throwing Company and bronze medal winners will win a £50 voucher from Sunflower Wellness, North Belfast’s boutique wellness studio offering yoga and holistic therapies.

Got a gaming geek in your life? Give them the gift of gaming time! We've made gift vouchers available on the Retro Room website starting at only £7 for one hour.
The Retro Room will be open to the public again this weekend. Our regular opening hours are Friday from 11am - 11pm, Saturday from 11am - 11pm and Sunday from 12am - 8pm. No need to prebook, show up at the venue and gaming costs only £7 per hour (£25 for a full day ticket) and remember NO COINS ARE REQUIRED! All of the games are free to play when you buy a ticket.
